Waste Management Lab Technician

Candidate must work in a laboratory environment utilizing a quality system based on the ISO 17025:2005 International quality standard. Duties include managing hazardous waste disposal for a multi-location Government laboratory team while meeting all applicable Department of Army / Federal regulations. Under close supervision, performs the routine aspects of scientific and engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic scientific and engineering principles. Works on problems of limited scope. Interacts daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information. Education/Skills required:High School diploma or GED and at least 2 years of professional experience
